Coach Timothy W. Pearson
Born in 1973 in Norfolk, VA. I began my martial arts training in 1994 in Temple, TX training in Aikido until the school closed. My martial arts training then took a hiatus until 2005 when the U.S. Army sent me to begin my certification as a Combatives Instructor. This training culminated in 2009 when I received my certification as a Master Combatives Trainer, qualified to teach both the Basic and Tactical Combatives Courses. This training is where I learned the foundations of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), along with the striking skills of other martial arts. In that role, I have trained BJJ to thousands of Soldiers over the last decade and half.
