At the age of 36, Treba Davis had her first martial arts experience attending a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Seminar instructed by Professor Rafael Ellwanger. That experience changed her life forever and started her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey!
In 2012 after six years of training, Treba began instructing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a purple belt and received her black belt on April 13, 2019 from Jiu Jitsu legend, Professor Ailson "Jucao" Brites and Professor Rafael Ellwanger. Today as a black belt, she owns two GU-Team Jucão schools in south Mississippi where she teaches kids, women, and adult classes as well as teaching self-defense seminars. She spends countless hours training and sharing her love of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with others. Her goal is for adults and kids to gain confidence in themselves and become fit in a whole new way.
