At the age of 36, Treba Davis had her first martial arts experience attending a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Seminar instructed by Professor Rafael Ellwanger. That experience changed her life forever and started her jiu jitsu journey!
In 2012 after six years of training, she began instructing jiu jitsu as a purple belt. Today as a brown belt, she owns two GU-Team Jucão schools in south Mississippi where she teaches kids, womens, and adult classes as well as teaching self defense seminars. She spends countless hours training and sharing her love of jiu jitsu with others. Her goal is for adults and kids to gain confidence in themselves and become fit in a whole new way.
